These ten oil and gas projects are past the drawings and into construction or commissioning. Together they are where most of the site hiring in our industry is happening this year.
You apply to the contractor, not to the client. Nobody is hired by ADNOC to build Hail & Ghasha: they are hired by Tecnimont, or by NMDC Energy. So for each project we name the EPC contractor first, every member of the joint venture, and then the open jobs we found today on each contractor's own portal, with a direct link to the advert.
A job marked names the project says so in the advert itself (or, where we say so, is filed under the project on the contractor's own portal). The others are open with the same contractor, in the same country, but the advert does not say which project: read it before you apply.

Every project on this page is real, and that is exactly what makes it useful to someone trying to cheat you. Fake recruiters read the same news we do and use these names as bait. The project is real. The award is real. The recruiter is not.
Apply on the pages linked below and nowhere else. Several of these employers publish their own recruitment-fraud warnings on those same pages — McDermott states plainly that it never uses agencies that charge candidates fees, and NMDC Energy that it never asks for payment or bank details at any stage. Read them.

01 · Mozambique
The project that hires the most people, and the one that says so out loud. TotalEnergies expects the construction phase to create up to 7,000 direct jobs for Mozambicans. First LNG is expected in 2029.
In July TotalEnergies' chief executive put the project at almost 45% complete, with 7,000 to 8,000 people working on it, up from about 4,000 at the January restart. First LNG is still targeted for 2029. REPORTED: Club of Mozambique, Q2 results call.
Worth knowing: CCS JV states that employment priority goes to Mozambican nationals under the project's national content policy. If you are applying from abroad, the realistic route is a specialist role, not a general one.

Saipem hires for its sites through Global Projects Services AG (GPS AG, Zurich), its own recruitment company: the adverts above come from GPS AG's international job board and each one names Mozambique LNG. McDermott's adverts are on its own job portal. CCS JV's vacancy page lists no open positions today, and it gives employment priority to Mozambican nationals. Checked 31 Oct.
02 · Qatar
Two separate expansions, two separate joint ventures — a distinction worth getting right, because they hire separately. North Field East is four mega trains of 8 mtpa each plus carbon capture, built by the Chiyoda–Technip Energies joint venture. North Field South is two more trains, 16 mtpa, built by Technip Energies with Consolidated Contractors Company.
North Field East: Reuters reports the first train will be ready to start in November, with production in the first quarter of 2027; QatarEnergy's chief executive says the first half of 2027. For workers this means commissioning and operations roles, while construction crews start to demobilise. North Field West has its own entry below. Sources: Reuters via EnergyNow, 7 Oct 2026.
Sources: Technip Energies — North Field East · Technip Energies — North Field South
Neither advert names the project, but Technip Energies' construction work in Qatar is the North Field programme. CCC's own careers site blocks automated reading, so we check its LinkedIn page. Chiyoda recruits mainly in Japan. Checked 31 Oct.
03 · Saudi Arabia
The kingdom's largest unconventional gas development, and the one where you have to do the most work yourself. Aramco does not name its EPC contractors — it announces awards in aggregate, which is why this project is marked REPORTED and the others are not. Every firm below named itself, in its own statement.
Gas production at Jafurah started in December 2025, Aramco announced on 26 February 2026. Phase two is under construction: 16 contracts worth about USD 12.4bn for compression, new gas processing trains, utilities, sulphur and export facilities. Source: Aramco, 26 Feb 2026.
Where the openings actually sit: Samsung E&A routes applications to the group portal at samsungcareers.com, and Hyundai E&C's listings live on its Korean recruitment site rather than the English page. Expect to change language, not to pay anyone to do it for you.
We have deliberately left off two names you will see elsewhere. Técnicas Reunidas' Jafurah work rests on a non-binding letter of intent, not a firm award — its separate confirmed Aramco contract is for Riyas NGL, a different site that is easy to confuse with this one. We will add it the day it is signed.

Larsen & Toubro's own portal files all of these under Jafurah Gas Compression Project, Phase II, Package 31. The 186 QA/QC openings are separate adverts with the same text: open one, or filter the portal by "Kingdom of Saudi Arabia". Samsung E&A's own list shows no openings today; Hyundai E&C recruits through its Korean site. Checked 31 Oct.

A USD 17 billion EPC programme split cleanly in two, which tells you exactly where to apply. Offshore — drilling centres, a processing plant on artificial islands and hundreds of kilometres of subsea pipeline — went to Saipem and NMDC Energy. Onshore — carbon dioxide and sulphur recovery and handling — went to Tecnimont alone, the largest award in its parent group's history.
Offshore, the first two steel jackets were installed in July 2025 by NMDC Energy's vessels. ADNOC raised about USD 11bn of financing in December 2025. Onshore at Ruwais, Tecnimont is now hiring commissioning staff for November 2026 starts: our read is that the onshore plant is moving from construction towards commissioning. Sources: Offshore Energy, July 2025 · The National, Dec 2025.
Tecnimont accepts applications only through its own job portal — a CV sent by email is not considered, so do not let anyone tell you they can "submit it for you".
Sources: Saipem · NMDC · MAIRE
Tecnimont recruits through MET T&S, MAIRE's own employment company, not an agency. NMDC Energy's offshore and yard roles without the tag do not name a project: NMDC Energy is also building three new offshore projects for Aramco and works on Ruwais LNG. Saipem's own portal blocks automated reading, so its adverts above come from LinkedIn: all Saipem jobs in the UAE. Checked 31 Oct.

Two trains, 9.6 mtpa, designed to run on electric drives rather than gas turbines. The EPC went to the TJN Ruwais joint venture — Technip Energies as leader, with JGC and NMDC Energy. NMDC puts the contract at USD 5.5 billion; Technip Energies discloses only its own share, above one billion euros. That gap is normal, and worth knowing when you read contract values anywhere.
Under construction. The first train is scheduled for the second half of 2028 and the second for early 2029, according to ADNOC Gas' plan to take a 60% stake in the plant. Source: World Oil, Nov 2024.
Search "TJN Ruwais JV" as well as the company names — site roles are often advertised under the joint venture, not the parent.

Only the first advert names the Ruwais LNG site. The Abu Dhabi office roles do not name a project. NMDC Energy, the third JV partner, is hiring too: see its roles under Hail & Ghasha above. JGC recruits mainly in Japan. Checked 31 Oct.

Two more 8 Mtpa mega trains, a copy of the two that Technip Energies and CCC are building for North Field South, plus capture of 1.1 Mtpa of CO2. QatarEnergy awarded the onshore EPCC contract on 25 February 2026 to a joint venture led by Technip Energies, with Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) and Gulf Asia Contracting (GAC). Technip Energies calls it a "major" award: above €1 billion of revenue for its part.
Awarded eight months ago, so engineering and early works come first and the big site hiring follows. The same contractors are finishing North Field South next door: our read is that crews will move from one to the other, through the same portals. Source: Technip Energies, 25 Feb 2026.
Together with North Field East and South, the expansion takes Qatar from 78 to 142 Mtpa of LNG export capacity, according to Technip Energies.

Technip Energies' Qatar adverts do not say which North Field project they serve, so the same advert appears under North Field East & South. CCC's careers site blocks automated reading, so we check its LinkedIn page; GAC does not publish a readable job list. Checked 31 Oct.

A USD 7.7 billion EPC programme to raise the plant from 2.5 to up to 4 billion standard cubic feet of gas a day. Aramco named the three contractors itself in April 2024: Samsung E&A, GS Engineering & Construction and Nesma & Partners. Samsung E&A said it would execute the packages for the gas treatment unit and the utilities and offsites.
Aramco's 2025 results say engineering is complete and construction is progressing, with the extra capacity due by 2027. MEED reported that Samsung E&A gave the construction of the utilities and offsites package to Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), due in June 2027. Sources: Aramco, April 2024 · Aramco 2025 results · MEED, Jan 2025.
Aramco did not publish which package went to which contractor; the scopes in brackets are MEED's reporting.

We found no open adverts today: Samsung E&A's own list is empty, GS E&C recruits in Korean, Nesma's page has only an open application form, and CCC's site blocks automated reading. We will add them as they appear. Checked 31 Oct.

A USD 11 billion petrochemical complex built next to the SATORP refinery: a mixed-feed cracker of 1.65 million tonnes a year of ethylene and two polyethylene units. EPC awards announced in June 2023: Hyundai E&C for the cracker and utilities, Maire Tecnimont for the two polyethylene units, Sinopec Engineering Group Saudi for the tank farm and integration, and Saudi contractors for pipelines and site works.
Commercial start-up is scheduled for 2027; in April 2026 the Ministry of Investment and SATORP signed an agreement for the downstream industries around it. Tecnimont is hiring commissioning staff for its Amiral packages now: our read is that the polyethylene units are moving towards commissioning. Sources: TotalEnergies, June 2023 · Saudi Press Agency, April 2026.
Tecnimont advertises its Amiral jobs as "AMIRAL P02 & 03", the two polyethylene packages.

A 1 Mtpa liquefaction train in the port of Sohar, built to fuel ships, with electric drives powered by a solar plant. Technip Energies holds the EPC contract for the LNG plant, a "substantial" award (€500 million to €1 billion of revenue, by its own definition). CB&I, part of McDermott, builds the 165,000 m3 LNG tank.
More than 55% complete at the end of June 2026, with start-up targeted for the first quarter of 2028; the LNG tank was entering its final stages in September. Source: Oman Observer, Sept 2026.

Five trains and about 30 Mtpa under construction, more than USD 30 billion of investment, all built by Bechtel under lump-sum EPC contracts. NextDecade expects about 7,500 construction and trades workers at peak.
Train 1 is due to operate in late 2027, Train 2 in mid-2028, Train 3 in early 2029, Train 4 in the second half of 2030 and Train 5 in the first half of 2031. About 75% of the on-site workforce is local. Source: NextDecade fact sheet, Aug 2026.
